Prevention: All of our diabetic patients get a comprehensive foot evaluation in order to asses vascular, neurological and bio-mechanical health of their feet. This can include vascular tests musculoskeletal sonograms when necessary.

Wellness: Patients at risk of infection or ulcerations receive palliative care podiatric care of their thickened /ingrown nails, callouses, corns, etc. Patients at risk of future breakdown and ulcer formation may be fitted with specialized molded shoes with inserts.

• Ulcers and Wounds

We have one of the most advances in office wound care centers, healing even the most difficult wounds. I use unique treatment modalities such as offloading and LED therapy in order to improve a wound’s circulation. I use the latest wound care products and grafts in order to promote local wound closure. All these services are offered in our office.

• Neuropathy

I do not believe in using narcotic and /or anti convulsive medications such as Lyrica, Cymbalta, or email in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy. I feel these medications are masking the symptoms of neuropathy, rather than treating it. Instead, I believe in treating the causes of the neuropathy and improving the health of the affected nerve. I employ a nutritional management regimen of the metabolic processes that regulate blood vessel health. This facilitates nerve repair in patients with neuropathy.
