This is our signature service. Most podiatrists offer a medical pedicure as an alternative to cosmetic pedicures normally offered at nail salons. The emphasis is on providing a safe environment with sterilized instrumentation. However, the service is basically the same as a salon pedicure. There is no Podiatric care of corns, callouses, fungal, or ingrown nails rendered. The cost for these medical pedicures range from $175.00 to $250.00.

Our medical pedicure lives up to its name. We provide strict medical sterilization of all the instrumentation that is used. The treatment consists of the following:

• Hydrotherapy in our medical whirlpool prior to the treatment
• A medical evaluation of your feet by me, including any medication that may be needed to be prescribed for any condition diagnosed
• Mechanical debridement of all corns, callouses, fissures, etc. Trimming and reduction of nails, including debridement of thick or ingrown nails
• Application of a lubricating peel, in order to restore your feet’s skin

The benefits of this treatment on a monthly basis is as an overall improvement to a patient’s gait and comfortable shoe wear that is beneficial to the patient’s entire musculoskeletal wellness.
